It’s not something budgie parents want to talk about but it’s important at the same time
All budgie parents will go through this at one point
Budgies live an average of 4 – 8 years. They have a relatively short life span
The least you can do is know the signs of a budgie in their last moments so you can ease their suffering or even help out too
Here’s 5 signs you should look out for
1. Breathing Problems
These are characterized by the following

3. Budgie Vomiting
Budgies regurgitate food which is a sign for mating or show of affection
This can look like vomiting because they take their food out
So how do you tell the difference?
By looking at how your bird is throws up
If your budgie voluntarily brings up food by moving their head then that is regurgitating
But if your budgie’s head shakes and bobs violently before bringing out food, this is vomiting
Budgies will vomit if they are really sick
